1992 to 93 Upper Deck Basketball wax is where the Shaquille O'Neal Draft Pick #1 rookie was pulled. Upper Deck's basketball entry brought photographic quality above what NBA Hoops and SkyBox had done, and the Shaq #1 is one of the era's most-collected basketball rookies. The box also contains Alonzo Mourning, Christian Laettner, and Jimmy Jackson rookies. Print runs were significant but sealed wax remains a legitimate box-break candidate because the odds of pulling a top-pop Shaq rookie still make the math work.

How to identify

1992 to 93 Upper Deck Basketball wax box, 36 packs. Look for the Upper Deck hologram on the back of every card (the anti-counterfeiting signature). Confirm original 1992 to 93 issue, not the follow-up 1993 to 94 product.
