Why it matters

1991 Topps Stadium Club Baseball introduced premium photography, full-bleed images, and no-border card design to the mass hobby. Wax retailed at roughly triple the price of standard Topps flagship, print runs were held lower, and the product signaled the entire hobby's shift toward premium sets in the 1992 to 1993 window.
