GPK cards came in "a" and "b" versions, each character with two names on the same artwork; Adam Bomb is 8a, paired with Blasted Billy (8b). Adam Bomb is one of only three cards in OS1 (with #5 and #29) that shipped with two different back designs, so a complete Adam Bomb chase requires both: the Checklist back (lists all 88 OS1 cards, the more common utility back) and the Cheater's License back (a parody driver's license with joke fields, the scarcer collector variant, part of OS1's 'license' family that also included Loafer's License, Slob's License, and others). PSA population reports suggest the Cheater's License back runs at roughly 30-40% of Checklist submissions, so genuinely less common without being rare. Adding the finish variable on top, matte finish (earlier print) commands a premium over glossy (later print), and the matte Cheater's License Adam Bomb is the connoisseur's version. Reprints and later-series reissues exist, so confirming an original 1985 Series 1 first-printing matte is key to value.
