SkyBox launched in 1990-91 with a completely new basketball card aesthetic: no border, geometric line-art backgrounds, full-bleed player photos. It was the fourth brand alongside Topps, Fleer, and NBA Hoops, and its design language went on to shape premium basketball card design for the rest of the decade. The 1992 SkyBox USA Basketball Dream Team set is the era's definitive Barcelona commemorative product.
